The Michigan Department of Civil Rights – Division of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Seeks Input on Rules Governing Qualified Interpreters.  The Division of Deaf and Hard of Hearing will conduct public hearings to receive comment on rules governing  Qualified Interpreters.  Public hearings on the proposed rules will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 6:00pm-9:00pm  at Grand Valley State University – Pew Campus Eberhad Center, 301 West Fulton – 2nd Floor Conference Room Grand Rapids; Friday, March 8, 2013 from 6:30pm – 9:30pm at Cadillac Place – Room L-150

3044 W Grand Blvd Detroit; and Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 9:00am-12:00pm at Michigan School for the Deaf, 1235 W. Court Street, Flint.  Written comments may be submitted in person at the hearings or by mail to DODHH – Public Comment 201 N Washington Sq. Lansing, Michigan 48913.  Input may also be submitted via email at DODHH@michigan.gov or via facsimile at 517-335-7773.  All written input must be received no later than 5:00pm on Monday, March 18, 2013.
