On January 30, 2014, the US Department of Justice (“DOJ”) published in the federal register a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (“NPRM”) related to implementation of the 2008 amendments to the ADA which took effect on January 1, 2009.  The DOJ says that the purpose of the NPRM is to update the department’s Title II and Title II regulations to reflect the 2008 amendments to the ADA.   In this NPRM, the DOJ is also proposing to add new regulatory provisions that explain how the term “disability” should be interpreted and applied.”   The DOJ seeks comment and information from the public.  You may submit public comment  by any one of the following methods:
